I'm so glad TWD back on TV! And I've just watched it and yes I loved it! I must start with that I really didn't think 7A was bad but it was slow and sort of boring with all the introductions. I'm sure that flows better with a DVD watch later. So this episode was all I was hoping for. For starters, just seeing the gang together makes me so happy and a YES feeling came over me again. YES! I've so missed them working together again. So that was good.

I was happy to see the Hilltop people side with Maggie and wants to fight too. Who needs Gregory anyway.

I was sure Ezekiel would have joined in their fight by the morning, (even Benjamin thought it was a good idea!) but I suppose it is too soon and I see Ezekiels POV. His people are safe as far as he knows it so he does what he feels is best for them. I can't fault him for that. I really like the Ezekiel character. Not sure what I feel about his seemingly feelings for Carol...? Hmmm. And now Daryl is left there... Daryl and Ezekiel... I find it hard to see them two working together...they're just sooo different. Can Daryl really change his mind?

I don't really know what Morgan is feeling/thinking right now. Yeah, he doesn't want a war that's for sure and he's still on the don't kill if you can avoid it theme but does that mean he will step aside a la Carol or will he help in the way of teaching to fight with the stick a la self defense?

It did break my heart to see Rick leaving Daryl there. The look in their eyes! :( I can just imagine Daryl feeling abandoned. Urgh. I can't bear that. But Rick was right about it being the smartest play. I just hope it means he will get to see Carol. Caryl shipping aside, they are friends with a deep connection. There's got to be a reunion of some kind between them or I'll be mad/sad. I don't want Daryl to be alone! He needs his family. If he's not with his brother then let it be with his sister please! (I am going with siblings in the shipping war(s) because they are family at the very least!)

That was a huge walker herd. Yay for explosives!

The huge question mark is of course Gabriel. He left with a purpose/plan. But to do what? And Ricks weird smile at the end. Huh????? I suppose the mystey boot belongs to one of them...?

And ps, I did not like Rositas comment to Sasha. I thought they could be friends? :(

For once I was totally spoiler free and I must say it makes for better suspence. Gosh, I really hope I can stay spoiler free. So much better! I thought it was a very suspensful episode, good paced and simply a solid episode. :)

pps, I forgot Aaron and Eric! What was that? Does Eric not want to fight back? As I remember it he spoke up in the Church previously when Rick told them all about how Negan was now in charge. I got the impression they BOTH wanted to fight back. Did Eric change his mind because of Aarons beating? Aaron and Eric better not be having couples issues. Just saying.

I adore Aaron and Eric. Did you notice they didn't kiss? That might have been because of the HUGE uproar from the first time. My impression is that Eric wants to have as normal life as possible under the circumstances. He probably doesn't think they can win against the Saviors.

There was a huge uproar? Really? *sighs* Too bad. I felt something was missing between them. I dunno what but maybe it was the lack of kissing!

I hope so too! I was mad at Morgan whe he told Daryl and Rick that Carol had left instead of telling them where she was. I kept hoping that Benjamin would tell her in the woods. I will keep my fingers crossed that they will see each other next episode.

And Ricks weird smile at the end. Huh?????

I think he smiled because he was super happy to find a huge group of badass humans with guns, so that they join the fight against Negan's group!

I'm thinking they will probably meet somehow. Maybe by accident in the woods. Imagine the surprise! No. They just got to meet. I read someone being surprised of Daryl's reaction when Morgan told them about Carol. Like how it was so in your face out of nowhere. Or something. I was just like what? How could you not know Daryl cares for Carol? Where you've been?

Yeah, you're probably right. I hope so. They need allies that will and can fight beside them. His smile really creeped me out though. *lol* Guess I'm not used to see him smile!

I'm pretty sure Ezekiel will change his mind eventually too. Not so sure Daryl will be the one to talk him into it though. I keep wondering how those two will mesh. The King is all about the theatrics and that's one thing Daryl will not understand. We'll see. I'm excited for next episode.

That would be funny!

Yeah, Daryl cares for Carol for like, forever. He almost got killed when he was trying to find her little girl, he would not have done that for anyone!

Haha, I agree that Rick's smile at then end was creepy!

I have a feeling that the scenes with Ezekiel and Daryl might be awkwardly funny.

This episode was SO much better than pretty much the entire first half of the season! For one thing, getting the band back together--phew! But it got me so badly when they showed Abraham and Glenn. The show really has lost something major with Glenn. And, to a lesser extent, Abraham. He was one of my favorite characters. For one thing, his semi-baroque mode of speech. Who else is around to compliment Eugene on his dick-biting skills??

I need to watch it again. My first impression was that the zombie clotheslining looked fake.

And I LOVE King Ezekiel! I want him to be in every episode, even if it's just a fast few minutes. And Jerry. Gotta love the big doofus. How on earth did he get that position? Is it because he makes Ezekiel look smart?

Can Morgan go away, please? I love the actor but the character is a big slab of boring. And my Queen was not in it nearly enough. At first I thought Rick was smiling at her in the end, because the hooded figure that reminded me of Carol as the Wolf. But it's probably Gabriel; I can't think of anyone else.

My favorite line: Rick saying that Daryl can "stare him into submission". LOL.

I don't thin he was smiling at someone he knows at the end of the episode. I think he smiled because he was super happy to find a huge group of badass humans with guns, so that they join the fight against Negan's group.

I feel for your missing Glenn and Abraham. It still got to me too. Something is missing. :(

Yes, it looked fake. But also kinda cool I thought.

Jerry! Yes I'd like to know how he got that position too.
